The U14 squad of Depo Link, from the Croatian town of Škrljevo, achieved a historic milestone by participating in the 'Valencia Basket Experience - Elite Program'. This exclusive programme, designed for the development of young talent, ran from 31 August to 4 September, with the Croatian team being the first from their country to take part. The expedition, which lasted five days in total, involved 15 young players, including two players and a coach from the rival club KK Cres, further enriching the international character of the event.

The entire stay in Spain was conducted under expert guidance, with the core of the programme taking place at the L'Alqueria del Basket complex, a specialist centre for the development of young basketball players. Participants were given an in-depth look at the work and philosophy, with direct insight into the work of one of the best European basketball systems. The programme included a tour of Roig Arena, the new home of the club, where they were introduced to the history, development and greatest achievements of the local brand.

In addition to professional development, participants had the opportunity to experience local culture and cuisine, particularly traditional Spanish paella, the preparation of which they tried as part of the programme. This unique experience allowed the young players not only to acquire new tactical knowledge, but also to gain insight into the professional approach to work characterised by one of the best European basketball systems. The programme thus provided a comprehensive experience that went beyond basketball skills, encompassing cultural exchange and the adoption of new standards in working with young generations.
