Croatian national team footballer Luka Modrić visited the site where an investment project is being built near Dubrovnik. The location, known as Tri Sestrice, is currently undergoing construction works. The visit confirmed that the player is physically present at the site, although details regarding his involvement in the project's development have not been published.
The project at the Tri Sestrice site involves the construction of several facilities, including three hotels, two beaches, 30 villas, and 150 residences. The total estimated value of the investment is 350 million euros. It is one of the significant real estate ventures in the region, aimed at luxury tourism.
Intensive work is currently underway on-site to prepare the infrastructure. In the first phase, 4.5 km of access road has been asphalted. This infrastructure facilitates easier access to the site and prepares the ground for the continuation of other construction works. The investment in infrastructure is valued at 15 million euros.
The project includes detailed landscaping. Five million euros are allocated for horticultural works. Special attention is paid to the procurement of large Mediterranean trees, which ensures an authentic look for the surroundings. The trees were sourced from 20 different nurseries, ensuring diversity in the landscape design.
All mentioned investments are funded through private sources, without the use of state subsidies or EU funds. The investor has secured the necessary funds for the project's realisation, highlighting the financial independence and strength of private investment in Croatian tourism.
