Residents and visitors to the town of Ogulin will have the opportunity to enjoy special musical evenings on the occasion of City Day. These events, part of a wider programme marking this significant date, will offer the public a variety of musical content from sacred to contemporary popular music.
One of the key events is the 'Ave Maria' sacred concert, which will take place on 13 September in the parish church of St Cross in Ogulin. This event will take place immediately after the conclusion of the holy mass, allowing the faithful and visitors to celebrate the spiritual dimension of music together in the church's festive atmosphere.
In addition to sacred music, the programme includes secular content. The evenings will feature musical ensembles offering the public a variety of genre experiences. In particular, the performance by Big Band Makarska is highlighted. The ensemble, known for its collaboration with prominent Croatian musicians, including Neno Belan, is preparing for a performance. Their repertoire includes a wide range, including pop and jazz standards, as well as funk music, with attractive instrumental and vocal arrangements.
