Ferrari has officially unveiled its latest unique car model, the CZ-26, at an event in Monterey. This one-off example is the result of the Special Projects programme, which develops exclusive cars according to specific customer wishes.
The CZ-26 was developed in collaboration with a customer from the United States and Ferrari’s design studio, led on this project by Flavio Manzon. The vehicle’s technical basis is the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and the CZ-26 retains its technical specifications, meaning performance and mechanics are consistent with the original model.
The aim in creating the CZ-26 was to shape a car with a recognisable character through strict lines and pure form, combining a technological approach with a modern design language. The vehicle’s stylistic concept is defined by horizontal lines and a silhouette with two clearly expressed volumes, while the central capsule-shaped cabin sits on four prominent elements positioned above the wheels.
The front of the car features a functional grille spanning the full width, into which hidden lighting elements, a brake air intake, and sensors are integrated. The rear is characterised by a chopped tail, “floating” light clusters, and a prominent diffuser, further emphasising the dynamism and modernity of the design.
Aesthetically, the CZ-26’s design draws on Italian industrial design from the 1970s, but interprets it through a contemporary perspective, achieving a blend of tradition and innovation in a unique automobile.
